About Istanbul Medical Tourism

Choosing to have surgery in another country is a decision most people make with far too little information. Prices are quoted as a single number with nothing behind it, the surgeon's name appears only once you land, and a clinic's accreditation is asserted rather than evidenced. Istanbul Medical Tourism exists to remove that uncertainty. We work only with hospitals whose accreditation we have checked against the accrediting body's own register, and with surgeons whose credentials, case volume and complication history we have reviewed directly.

Our model is deliberately simple: the price you see is the clinic's price. We are compensated by the hospitals we partner with, never by adding a margin to your treatment, which means we have no incentive to steer you toward the most expensive option — only toward the one that is clinically right for you. Every quote arrives itemised, so you can see exactly what the surgery, the hospital nights, the medication, the hotel and the transfers each cost, and what has deliberately been left out.

What patients tell us matters most, though, is the coordination. You are assigned one named coordinator who reads your file, sits with you in the consulting room to translate, answers your messages at eleven at night when the swelling worries you, and checks in again at three months and at twelve. Medical travel is not a transaction that ends at the airport — and we do not treat it as one.
