1. Service Overview

Istanbul Medical Tourism provides medical tourism planning, booking assistance, and health information services for Turkey. Our services include:

• AI-powered treatment planning and treatment package generation
• Booking facilitation for local experiences, guided services, and curated trips
• Connection with verified local doctors and travel clinics
• Travel guides, blogs, and destination information
• Community features for patients

We act as an intermediary between you and service providers such as verified doctors, licensed clinics, and partner hospitals. The actual medical services are provided by those licensed professionals.

2. Bookings & Payments

2.1 Pricing

• All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
• Prices may vary based on availability, season, and demand
• Final prices are confirmed at the time of booking
• Currency conversions are for reference only; actual charges may vary

2.2 Payment Terms

• Istanbul Medical Tourism does not process payments and never holds patient funds
• Any amount, method and schedule is agreed directly between the patient and the doctor or clinic
• Payment schedules vary by service provider and will be clearly communicated

2.3 Cancellation

• Cancellation policies vary by service provider and are displayed at booking time
• Any money already paid to a provider is subject to that provider's own cancellation terms
• Providers must give their cancellation terms in writing before a patient commits
• Because the platform holds no funds, it cannot issue refunds; it can mediate and act against the provider

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• One account per person; accounts are non-transferable

3.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We may suspend accounts with suspicious activity

3.3 Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via account settings
• We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Pending bookings must be resolved before account deletion

4. User Conduct

When using our platform, you agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Submit fake reviews or manipulate ratings
• Harass other users, doctors, or staff
• Use the platform for illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent our security measures
• Scrape or collect data without permission
• Interfere with the platform's operation

5. Content & Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content on the platform (text, images, logos, software) is owned by Istanbul Medical Tourism or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

5.2 User Content

• You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, photos, etc.)
• You grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content
• User content must be truthful and not infringe on others' rights
• We may remove content that violates our policies

6. Disclaimers & Limitations

6.1 Travel Risks

Travel involves inherent risks. We recommend purchasing travel insurance and checking government travel advisories before your trip. We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control (weather, political events, natural disasters, etc.).

6.2 Third-Party Services

We are not liable for the actions, quality, or reliability of third-party service providers. Disputes with providers should be directed to them first, though we will assist where possible.

6.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Dispute Resolution

• We encourage resolving disputes through our customer support first
• Unresolved disputes may be submitted to mediation
• These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey
• Courts in Istanbul, Turkey have exclusive jurisdiction

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or website announcement at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
